Posing for a group photo!
These days there is huge demand and importance to candid photography. In this age of candid wedding photographers who are capable of narrating a wedding story in a true reportage style and with high-speed cameras that are capable of capturing high speed at low light, is it still significant? Yes, it is, we can even name it “craze”. It’s those photos that we see on Facebook and other social networks. This gives so much joy to the couple and no doubt they will have plenty of romantic pictures and will stand as a lovely memory.
On the other hand, Hardly people recognize the importance of group photos. Indeed while visualizing capturing a group - there are hundreds of people standing in a queue and there would be few trespassers who get to be captured without standing in the queue and end up being the talk of the queue. After all this, when it is our chance to meet the newly wedded and get ready to pose - that’s when one family member goes missing and the other one runs to find them. Once the lost and find is over, it’s time for the picture. Say cheese , one goes “che”, other “eeeeee” and one will be “mmm” or “whatever” kind of look.
Despite all this drama, comes a perfect group picture which might have put us under so much pressure at that time but later brings so much joy. Because these pictures speak memories for many years. How can a wedding be fulfilled without guests and it’s the same with capturing those guests.
Thinking of our Parent’ or grand parent’s wedding pictures. It’s not just the couple, it’s the group photos that take them to their memory lane. Not just that, these group photos speaks for itself and it lets us live the memories along with our beloved ones, though we might have not have existed then.
Although, it’s time and energy consuming, coming up with the family pictures brings vibrance and life to the day and stays as a great memory in our hearts and our album.
