One for the wall

We post blogs on photo stories here, usually it would be a blog on weddings, kids portraits or any interesting events that happens in the city but this blog is only about one picture that I cherish! A picture that was taken during my school's 175th founder's day celebration! Though a detailed blog on one of the most memorable event that i have ever done is one the way  ( I can't wait to share the images!! one of the best and most satsifying works that i have ever done.

Special Thanks to Timothy, there is something called as the "photographer's curse" a photographer will never be clicked properly but this was a single shot in a DSLR and it was bang on! The only thing that could have been better was my ID Card that is flipped in the image, which everyone was proudly wearing!

This was once in a lifetime opportunity for me, a picture with the guest of honor, Linsley Harris, the great, great great, great, granddaughter of Christ Church's founder, Parker Wallace and her son, who came all the way from Australia to attend our school's 175th annual celebration! what a night it was!!

I have never asked for a pose with a guest no matter how big the celebrity is but this is something which I couldn't resist, many old students wanted to take a picture with them and they both posed with each and every alumni member with a big smile.By the end of the day, as they were about to leave, I couldn't resist but I was too shy to ask them for a picture, so Timothy, the secretary of the alumni asked them on my behalf and they happily obliged and they were surprised to know that I was also an alumni of the school.
